These recordings are some of the first vocal recordings I have made since starting hormones. Feminizing hormones tend not to affect a voice that has gone through a masculinising (or cursed) puberty. These songs mark an effort to relocate myself within my voice. Mostly spoken, they are a first step.

The cover depicts the medal given to the Cowardly Lion in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

It's released under the name Ignatz Höch & Hannah Mouse. I took the name Ignatz Höch in 2006 as an amalgam of dadaist hero Hannah Höch and the cartoon mouse Ignatz from the comic strip Krazy Kat. Now the inversion exists in combination with the original.
